Mother's Joy

Hi, I’m Aujanaye - a birth and postpartum doula and lactation support provider with a heart for holding space during life’s most sacred transitions. My mission is to walk alongside you, offering grounded support, gentle guidance, and deep presence during your birth and postpartum journey.

This work isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. I’m especially passionate about supporting Black and Brown families as we reclaim birth as a powerful, ancestral, and transformative experience.

My approach is:

Whether you’re preparing for birth, healing after delivery, or navigating feeding support, I’m here to honor your intuition, your story, and your rhythm. My role is to nurture you — body, mind, and spirit — so you feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

Outside of birth work, I’m someone who values quiet moments, intentional living, and creating space for personal healing. I believe every family deserves to feel deeply supported during this life-changing time — and I’d be honored to walk this path with you.

Why I Became a Doula

I became a doula because I believe every birthing person deserves to feel held, heard, and honored. As a Black woman, I’ve witnessed how our stories, our pain, and our power are often overlooked in birth spaces — and I wanted to be part of changing that.

This work called to me from a deeper place — not just as a career, but as a sacred responsibility. I’m here to help restore trust, dignity, and softness in a world that often expects us to be strong before we’ve been allowed to feel safe.

I value building genuine relationships and holding space that feels like family — warm, nonjudgmental, and safe.I believe birth is not just medical — it’s emotional, spiritual, and ancestral.
